This Turkish bread is extremely fluffy and light. It’s perfect for making kebab and shawarmah sandwiches. And is a great addition to your breakfast table.

Ingredients:
500 g white flour
400 ml of lukewarm water
3 teaspoons of instant yeast; 9 g
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 tablespoon salt; 5 g
Tips
– This type of dough is very sticky. Don’t be tempted to add any flour to make it less sticky.
– Make sure that you knead the dough long enough 10 – 15 minutes
– Let the dough rise in a room place until it doubles in size. It will take around 2 hours in a room temperature 25-30 C
– Be gentle when handling the risen dough not to knock out the air bubbles.
– Make sure that the oven is at 220 C.
